Education Institutions
Over the years 4CFF has been providing classes for Whatcom County middle school, high school and university students, as well as the general public of all ages that include fly fishing, fly tying and casting instructions.
BP Children's Christmas Event
It is a yearly tradition that 4CFF volunteers participate in BP's Children's Christmas Celebration (BP-British Petroleum, Cherry Point Refinery) by hosting a booth where as many twenty members tie flies individually designed by the children that are inserted into glass Christmas ornament, then placed with care into a gift box.
Yeagers Fly Tying
Several times a year members of 4CFF host a fly tying table at Yeager's Sporting Goods in support of teaching local scouting program and other youths teaching fly tying in which scouts take the opportunity to earn a fly tying merit badge as seen in the image above.
