A Washington state native and former middle school teacher, Marion grew up with a father who was an avid fly tier and fisher, who shared his knowledge exclusively with his two sons. After his passing, she grew a desire to become an independent and knowledgeable fly fisher so she joined the local fly club,-4th Corner Fly Fishers in Bellingham. Encouraged by a friend, she became a Fly FishersI International (FFI) Certified Casting Instructor in 2022. Since then she has provided instructional support to friends, club members, women fly fisher originations, FFI Washington Casting Fairs, FFI Women Connect Casting Week in Arkansas, local conservation organizations, women's adventure trips, summer fly fishing youth camps, and after school programs.

Frank was introduced to fly fishing by his father in Minnesota back the mid 1950’s-bamboo, silk lines…the whole package. And like many, after a while, he wandered into other interests for a couple of decades. That changed when he moved back to Seattle in the 80’s. His passion was ignited further by almost a decade in Alaska primarily hitting the saltwater for salmon. (He is the only Valdez Salmon Derby winner who used a fly rod.) Upon his return to Washington, he joined the 4th Corner Fly Fishers in 2006. He has participated in casting and fly tying programs for club members and the public. He has worked with students from the Whatcom County School system, local sporting goods stores, and with the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association in Bellingham. He became a FFI Certified Casting Instructor in 2023.

Molly Semenik lives in Birch Bay Washington having moved from Montana where she guided for 14 years and started Tie The Knot Fly Fishing back in 2001. Currently, Molly offers fly fishing instruction (single-hand and two-hand) both in person and virtually. Molly has her MCI and THMCI through the FFI casting instructor certification program and is an emeritus member of the Casting Board of Governors. In 2015 Molly has authored “25 Best Off the Beaten Path Montana Fly Fishing Streams.
