Arrive 15 minutes early to set up your rod and warm up your casting muscles so we can start promtply at 9:00.

Joining our Casting Clinics is a chance for you to try, tweak, and learn something new, no matter your casting skill level, your fishing experience, your gender, or your age.

Improving your casting skills can enhance your overall fishing experience, boost your confidence on the water, and prepare you for more advanced casting techniques.
What to Expect
Learn new skills, new casts, and how to diagnose and fix the mystery behind piled leaders, tailing loops, and casts that just don't do the job. With instruction to meet your goals, learn to test small changes in your cast that lead to big learn to test small changes in your cast that lead to big gains in distance and controlled presentations. We can also help you progress your casting skills throught the Fly Fishers International Fly Casting Skills Program. Who Can Attend
Anglers of all types and skill levels are welcome, whether you’re a community member or a club member.
• Free for 4CFF members
• Non-members: $20.00 per session
What to Bring
• 5–6 weight rod with a floating line
• 0X 7.5-foot trout tapered leader
• Eye protection (glasses) — required
• A free yarn fly will be provided
A few rods will be available for those who are new to fly fishing.
Session Details
• Sessions are limited to 8 casters per session
• A waiting list is available. Register to attend.
